The 27 hour Charity Pledge.

Twenty7Tec is committed to giving back to the local community in which we work. Our 27 Hour Charity Pledge, means that as a business we commit a minimum of 27 hours of time to support our preferred local charity.

The Twenty7Tec preferred local charity is Michael House, Bournemouth. (

Homelessness has been a major problem in Bournemouth over the last twenty years, and this problem is only getting worse.

The Michael House mission is:

• To provide emergency, day and long term accommodation to the homeless.

• To provide encouragement, advice and support in an environment which people to gain a greater sense of self worth, and to move towards a more independent life.

This month Mark, from our appointed charity Michael house came to visit us to talk to us about the fantastic work that the charity do.

We will soon be launching a number of charity initiatives. Thank you also to the people who kindly donated to the appeal they put out for items to help with residents who need to self isolate.

Welsh peaks challenge.

We had a vote to determine the charity event that we would do first and the challenge which received the most votes was the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge. The Welsh Three Peaks Challenge takes in the three peaks of Wales: Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan with a total walking distance of 17 miles (27.4km) and an ascent of 2334 metres (7657ft), usually in less than 24-hours.

We will be organising our own challenge to keep costs down, and fundraising will be done as a group effort via a company fundraising page. Currently we are still aiming for July and are in the process of getting all the costs together and will communicate everything as soon as possible.
