Best Companies gives Twenty7tec the two-star thumbs up

Twenty7tec zooms up the Best Companies rankings after being recognised for its highly effective approach to employee engagement.

Today, leading adviser tech Twenty7tec has announced that Best Companies has upgraded Twenty7tec from a one-star to a two-star rating for the business’s continued commitment to improving employee engagement.

This stellar result reflects Twenty7tec’s considerable increases in several key categories used within the Best Companies evaluation process, all based on anonymised employee feedback:

  • A 7% increase in the category of “Fair Deal”, which consists of the Best Companies questions around pay, benefits, and equity
  • A 7% increase in the category of “Personal Growth”, which focuses on career development, training opportunities, etc.
  • An 8% increase in the category of “Giving Something Back”, which is all about environmental and social work, charitable activities, and so on.

Best Companies accreditation is widely regarded as the gold-plated standard in workplace engagement, and its two-star rating represents organisations striving for the top with an ‘outstanding’ commitment to improving employees’ experience.

For nearly a quarter of a century, Best Companies has been using a world-class methodology to help companies of all sizes across the UK measure and improve workplace engagement in order to help them build a happier, healthier workforce.

James Tucker, CEO of Twenty7tec, said: “I cannot emphasise enough how pleased we all are to have our collective efforts recognised by Best Companies. At Twenty7tec, we know that a business is nothing without its employees, which is why we strive to nurture great talent by supporting everyone to be the best that they can be.

“From the very outset, we have been deeply committed to fostering a great culture, and have thereby managed to build a company people want to be a part of. Our colleagues know that their health, happiness and personal development are at the heart of everything we do.

“This new two-star rating, therefore, marks an important milestone in our journey towards our ultimate goal of achieving a Best Companies three-star rating for ‘world-class’ levels of workplace engagement.”

Tom Pearson, Twenty7tec’s Director of People, said: “Since our last Best Companies survey in August 2023, we have managed to significantly improve our Best Companies Index (BCI) score, which has resulted in our new two-star rating.

“Here at Twenty7tec, we will never stop investing in the well-being of our people, not only because it’s the key to our continued success but also because it’s the right thing to do.”
