About Us

Unlike almost every other financial product, the process of obtaining a mortgage has become more complex, more time consuming and more frustrating as the years have passed.

Twenty7Tec is committed to reversing this trend.

Through our CloudTwenty7 platform, we make the process of searching, applying for and obtaining a mortgage simpler, faster and more efficient.

Our technology can be used by all participants in the mortgage market, from lenders to mortgage advisers, to comparison sites and even end customers.

About Twenty7tec

Timeline

Our Journey

Foundations

Twenty7Tec was created by its management team in partnership with a technology focused venture capital firm and Mortgage Advice Bureau, an AIM listed business and cornerstone client. Twenty7Tec launched its first mortgage sourcing system, MortgageSource, in September 2014.

2014

Specialists

The addition of secured and bridging loans to MortgageSource helped Twenty7Tec become the No.1 provider of specialist product sourcing to the mortgage, secured and bridging loan markets, whilst major client wins saw user numbers of MortgageSource exceed 2,000 for the first time.

2015

New Horizons

As well as a continued increase in user numbers for MortgageSource, 2016 saw the release of SourceInsight, a unique real time data analytics platform that enables users to analyse trends in both client and Intermediary lending requirements.

2016

Partnerships

In partnership with Legal and General Home Finance, Twenty7Tec added Equity Release products to MortgageSource in 2017, whilst Intermediary user numbers exceeded 6,000 for the first time. Twenty7Tec won 5 industry awards including the prestigious Mortgage Strategy Award for Best Technology Provider for the first time.

2017

Pioneers

Twenty7Tec launched MortgageApply to the market for the first time, delivering true end to end intermediary and lender API driven system integration for the first time. User numbers for MortgageSource grew to over 8,000, driven by major intermediary Network wins.

2018

Market Leaders

Further client wins were secured taking user numbers for MortgageSource over 12,000, whilst the roll out of MortgageApply to lenders and intermediaries continued apace. Twenty7Tec combined all products (Now named SOURCE, APPLY and INSIGHT) into one single ecosystem, known as CloudTwenty7.

2019

Deliverables

After announcing integration plans for APPLY with all major lenders in 2019, Twenty7Tec will spend 2020 completing these integrations, delivering for our users truly transformational operational efficiency.

Apply is a very important milestone in an exciting journey for us all, and I am delighted that MAB will be first to benefit from the integration with these lenders.

At Legal & General, we needed a partner that was equally dynamic and understood that retirement lending needs to meet these challenges: Twenty7tec was clearly that partner. It is a fantastic advancement to highlight the value of lifetime mortgages in this manner.

By selecting Twenty7Tec, we feel we have given our members an accurate mortgage sourcing solution which in turn, helps manage client expectations and reduce an adviser’s time referring to underwriting guides or on the phone to Lenders.
